I'm not a counselor or psychiatrist, but I feel like I earned an honorary doctorate degree by surviving some major  challenges in life – a divorce, living in the single again world, dating, and remarrying after being single for 15 years.

Writing is my passion. During my career in communication departments, I wrote hundreds of stories for corporate magazines and newsletters. I also wrote and self-published the e-book, Single Again 101. Since retiring, my pieces have been published in a Chicken Soup for the Soul book,, INSPIRED Senior Living magazine; Sacramento Parent Magazine…

I enjoy gardening. (My zinnias are typically six feet tall. By
the way, that's me in the
photo standing behind
them.) I also enjoy
reading, taking long walks
and exploring small towns.

I live my ever-changing life in an international community in southeastern Michigan with my husband of four years,  who is a fabulous artist.
